The policy only applies to our website and to its second and third level domains. Therefore, it does not apply to any other website accessible through links.

By using this site, you consent to the use of such cookies in accordance with this Cookie Policy. If you do not consent, you need to set up your browser accordingly or stop visiting our website or the corresponding second and third level domains. General information about cookies

What is a cookie?
A cookie is small text file that is stored on your computer (or any other device that connects to the Internet such as a smart phone or a tablet) when you visit a website. Usually a cookie includes the name of the website it comes from, a duration (that is the amount of time such cookie will be stored on your device) and a value which normally is a randomly generated unique number.

What do cookies do?
Cookies make users' navigation easier by customizing it according to their interests and needs. Cookies can also be used to speed up users' visits and activities on a website. Cookies are useful to create anonymous aggregated statistics that help to understand how people use websites. Such information is important to improve both the structure and the contents of websites.

Categories of cookies used on this website

Necessary
These cookies are essential to ensure the correct functioning of our website. They allow users to browse around and use features such as the retention of previous actions (entered texts) when going back to a page during the same session.

These cookies do not collect information that identifies visitors. Not accepting such cookies may result in a poor website navigation.

Performance
These cookies help us understand how users interact with our website, providing information about visited sections, the time spent on the website and any displayed error message. Thanks to this category of cookies, we can ensure users the best experience.

These cookies do not collect information that identifies visitors. All the information is stored and aggregated anonymously.

Functionality
These cookies allow our website to remember users' choices (such as your user name, your language or region, any items selected for purchase) in order to provide a custom and pleasant online experience. They also allow users to watch videos or interact with social tools such as blogs and forums.

Information collected by such cookies may include personally identifiable data such as your user name or profile picture. We will always be very open with you in terms of collected information, its use and any third party that may have access to it.
If you do not accept this type of cookies, the performance of the website could be affected and the access to some contents on the website could be limited.

Targeting/advertising
These cookies are used to present the contents that best suit your interests. They could be used to show specific ads or limit the number of times you see an ad. They also help us to measure the effectiveness of the marketing campaigns on our websites.
We might use such cookies to remember the websites you visited and we might share such information with third parties.

Most of such cookies track consumers through their IP address, therefore they may collect some personally identifiable information. For further information about this type of cookies, including collected information and their use, please see the related table.

What kind of cookies are usually used?

Websites use two types of cookies: "session cookies" and "persistent cookies".

Session cookies: these are temporary cookies, which stay on your device until you leave the website.

Persistent cookies: these files stay in your device for a longer time or until you delete them manually (the amount of time a cookie stays on your device depends on the cookie lifetime or on your browser settings).

Some of the pages you visit may collect information through pixel tags (also known as clear gifs) that could be shared with third parties that directly support promotional activities and website development. For instance, information about how people use websites could be shared with advertising agencies in order to show only ads that are likely to be more relevant.

Another distinction in terms of cookies types - specified by the Data Protection Authority - is between Technical cookies and Profiling Cookies.

Technical cookies: they are used to show only offers that could be interesting to users or provide a service users requested. They are not used for further purposes and are usually installed directly by the website manager. Without them, some operations could not be performed or would be more complex and/or less secure, such as any home banking activity (viewing your statement, paying through wire transfers, paying bills, etc.). In these cases cookies are essential since they allow to complete such tasks while identifying users during a session.

Profiling cookies: They are aimed at tracking users' navigation and creating profiles on their habits, choices, preferences, etc. They are used to send ads based on the preferences shown by users during navigation.

How can I control or delete cookies?

Most internet browsers are set up to automatically accept cookies. You can change such settings in order to block cookies or to be informed about the cookies that are being sent to your device. You can manage cookies in different ways: you can refer to your user manual or to your browser help section to find out how to change your browser settings. Disabling cookies may affect your navigation; for instance, certain sections may not be accessible or you may not receive custom information when you visit a website.

If you use different devices to visit and access websites (such as PCs, smart phones, tablets, etc.) make sure that each device browser is set up according to your cookies preferences.
